I heard about this on the radio this morning. You enter your household income and it ranks where you fall in the 99% (or 1% if you are banking the big bucks).

Part of me hopes it isn't accurate because we are a lot higher than I thought too.
Seems right to me. The median household income in 2009 was $50k.

Me too. Though we are no where close to the 1%, I'm not bitchin.
I heard on the radio this morning that the 1% starts with people making somewhere in the $500ks.
This was on the P&CE board yesterday. I was thinking about how "rich" so many of us on this board are compared to millions of others and how it's so easy to forget it.
Of course we say Houston has a decent cost of living, when you factor gas prices into traveling all over this big town, 2 car homes and insurance on those cars, that is a significant chunk of many of our monthly budgets.
