Part of me hopes it isn't accurate because we are a lot higher than I thought too.

Me too. Though we are no where close to the 1%, I'm not bitchin.
I heard on the radio this morning that the 1% starts with people making somewhere in the $500ks.
This was on the P&CE board yesterday. I was thinking about how "rich" so many of us on this board are compared to millions of others and how it's so easy to forget it.
Of course we say Houston has a decent cost of living, when you factor gas prices into traveling all over this big town, 2 car homes and insurance on those cars, that is a significant chunk of many of our monthly budgets.
