Yes, it's home, home.
I'm excited and looking forward to being closer to family. But really sad about leaving here and all of the friends I've made and kinda scared about being closer to family lol.

This. As much as I always wish our families lived closer, it would probably scare me a little if that actually happened.
I just listened to this feature on NPR, I think, about how Detroit is really turning around and it's a great time to move there. I thought of you and thought, "nahhhhhh she'd never." But you are.
I agree that your humor will be missed if you leave the nest. Or FB. :-) What a time to move there though - brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! ;-)

I'm really happy for you! I'm glad you get to go back home and be closer to family and all that good stuff. But I'm bummed because I was hoping we would be able to hang out again sometime. Maybe at the going-away GTG, if I can make it.
But you better stick around here! You're one of those friends who lives in my computer, so I guess you can do that from Michigan, right?
