Woo Thursday!
I slept much better last night than the few nights before. I think I was only up once to pee?
Last night's dinner was only ok. I wasn't too nuts about it. I think maybe it needed more spicy? I brought some for lunch today and was sure to include a bottle of Tobasco. Tonight, Beef Stroganoff! It smelled really good when I was mixing it all together this morning, so I have high hopes.
What does everyone have on the go today?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Happy Thursday!
Good morning!
Thanks everyone for your well wishes for V and his new job by the way. It seems to be going pretty well so far. He's been spending the entire week doing orientation i.e. reading lots of material and meeting with his manager to understand the background and context of his work. They seem to be putting a lot of effort into setting him up for success, which is completely the opposite of what happens in the world of academia.
I've been spending every day at home trying to establish a regular routine for Darian, but I'm starting to see patterns in the times that naps. So today, I might venture out for a shopping trip. With the weather having been so gloomy lately, I was reminded that our living room really needs some new lamps. We'll see how the day goes.

Hey, look at me nesting before 6pm! Whoo hoo!
I am home sick today. I am pretty sure my cough has developed into bronchitis, so I have a doctor's appointment in a little bit. The bright side is that I feel fine, I just sound awful and it hurts when I cough, so at least I can be productive today.
On my list for the day:
--correct constructed responses from my kids (check!)
--write the indicators for the LA curriculum for narratives grades 6-8 (check!)
--read two articles for a committee I am on
--read a chapter from Teach Like a Champion for my Teacher Leader meeting next week
--put away laundry
--go for a long-ish slow run (I'd like to get in 5-6 miles, but this is totally dependent on my lungs...if I can't run without coughing, I may need to bag this goal)

Blender - hope you feel better soon.
Morning ladies.
As usual I am a grumpy old mess. Zach awas a nightmare lastnight, so I don't know if he had bad dreams, or more molars are coming through. I was up off and on from about 1:30 a.m. until about 4:00 a.m. Last try with him I ended up bringing him into bed with me, and he slept on my chest. When I would try to move him to the side of me, he would climb back up on me and wrap himself around me. At one point he was pratically choking me from holding on to me so tight. I do feel bad since I just don't know what is going on, so I am hoping tonight is a better sleep night. Of course this always happens when DH is working.
Tonight I don't feel like cooking so I am picking up a rottisarie (Sp?) chicken from our local grocery store. The boys love it, and it's quick and easy to make up sides with it.
Well busy day ahead, pray I don't fall asleep at my desk today and get caught.
Good morning! My day is ridiculous today. I have 5 straight classes, with my prep happening at 2:04 today (that's a long time to go without a break), lunch time meetings with my student council and then, after school, extra help for math class and then a group of us are going out for Korean BBQ (yay!).

Morning everyone! Feel better Blender.
I'm back to living in my office these days
and will be through the end of the month. On a happy note, B did 3 loads of laundry and cleaned our kitchen yesterday. AND my new iPhone is arriving today.
Hope everyone has a good one!
Feel better, blender!
The weather here is so gross. It's cold, windy and rainy. I would love to be curled up on my couch in sweatpants all day. They haven't turned the heat on in my building at work yet, so I have my space heater going at full blast.
My company is no longer coming this weekend, so instead of cleaning, I'll be drinking wine tonight. Have a great day, ladies!
Good morning! Today's my fake Friday, yay! But there's still a busy, busy day to get through, so much on my plate.
My sister flies in tonight, though, and we're going to enjoy a long weekend just shopping, eating, hanging out and going to the Wings-Caps game on Saturday night (Go Wings!).
Hope everyone has a fantastic day and weekend!
Feel better Blender!
Good morning! Last night was really low key, I made dinner and a talked to two of my sisters on the phone until almost 10pm.
We have great weather today, sunny with a high of 67*. I have a lunch thing for my young professionals network, so at least I'll be able to get out and enjoy some of the sunshine today.
I'm sleepy, too. DH took the 2nd feeding last night, which was useless. He doesn't get up and get quiet like I do, so I was honestly up for both of them anyways. Nothing like waking up for the day at 4am. Although, he made up for it by packing all my bags and getting my pump ready, so I really had nothing to do but get dressed this morning.
I finally got some time to play around with our new poster printer at work and did up a fancy Halloween sign for our door. It's actually really nice software. I'm hoping to get my hands on some photoshop software for home so I can play with pictures and such eventually.
Tonight should be quiet and just the usual dinner, laundry, bottle washing.
Good morning ladies. I'm pretty tired today. I had bunco (bunko?) at my house last night and while it's always fun, it's exhausting too. This is the 3rd month I've hosted so I'm spent now.
Today is just work and lay low. I'm hoping that I can get a little sleep tonight as I haven't been sleeping lately and it's really catching up with me.
I would also appreciate it if this little munchkin would switch from the breech position she is currently in. The dr told me that if she doesn't switch on her own in the next few weeks they would be trying to turn her externally (ouch) and if that doesn't work it's a c section. I still have a few weeks but I would prefer that she just get with the program now rather than later!
Oh ya, I also failed my 1 hour glucose test so I'll be going to take the 3 hour (torture) test tomorrow before work. Yuck!
Is it bedtime yet??
Have you thought about acupuncture? A good friend of mine did it, and it worked like a charm.
Last night I slept well again without DH. I have to pick him up at the airport tonight.
Today at work it was another busy day and I wanted to cry. I didn't get my breaks and ended up staying overtime. I'm going to try and go run on the treadmill shortly and I'm hoping that makes my mood better.
Tomorrow I go for my IPS (NT scan). Really excited to see baby!
