top chef Just Desserts (spoilers)

I really like Matthew and Chris so I was happy to see them make the top 3...
I was 'eh' about both Sally and Orlando, but based purely on Orlando's cockiness I didn't mind seeing him leave.

I agree with you. I was happy to hear Orlando admit that maybe some people have better ideas than he does sometimes.

I agree with EastCoast about Chris. I guess from what everyone says, he's good at his job, but I haven't seen anything that blew me away, unlike with Matthew and Sally. And Orlando never really put out anything worthy of a champion.
Although, as popular as it is to hate Orlando, I think it was all a front for the cameras, because after about halfway, you could see that most of the chefs really liked him and he was always saying little nice, personal things to them as they left. So, I really think his a$$hole persona was purely to get camera time. He is probably just young and abrasive, but ultimately decided to learn from Johnny's commentary, so he doesn't really bother me. He's not 1st place material though.
The cleverest person all around, I think, has been Sally, but Matthew seems to be a very likeable person as well as clever, so that goes a long way.
I'm not a Chris fan either. I would be happy with either one of the other two winning.

I just finally watched the most recent episode and I'm not sorry to see Orlando go. He had a bad attitude.
I'm also rooting for Sally.
I'm rooting for Matthew. Chris does some lovely showpiece work, but man am I sick of showpieces. The desserts he puts out aren't mind-blowing.
I hated Orlando at first but didn't mind him so much by the time he left. I agree with a PP that maybe the nasty attitude was just for the cameras. He was talented, but not the *most* talented.
I dislike Sally. I really, REALLY don't want her to win.
I live in Arlington, so I've been rooting for Matthew the whole time.
I hope he does well. Chris is irritating.
