If I were to show up to a party dressed as Jem, how many of you would know who I was?
Re: Costume question
Depends on how good the costume is.
I loved Jem as a kid.

16 read! my read shelf:
I probably wouldn't.
I know Jem (and the holograms), but I think I was too young to watch it much growing up.
I start singing the Captain Planet song
She starts singing the Jem song
And we both look at each other like, WTH are you talking about?
I've had Jem explained to me.
I feel the need to add I tried to change my name to Jem in preschool.
My mom still has the picture of the class quilt we made. Everyone wrote their first and last names all nicely, and I just wrote "JEM". The teacher went back and wrote "Diane" with quotion marks around the Jem, and then my last name.
Kinda funny now, but she was probably mortified at the time.
This is all kinds of awesome.
Sara if you went with he pink rocker hair I would know you were Jem.
Absolutely!!! But only if your costume was truly outrageous. Truly, truly, truly outrageous.
And dehko, I'm dying over here! JEM "Diane" Lastname. Nice!
I agree that it depends on how good your costume is
