Apparently yesterday's court hearing didn't penetrate her thick skull
Re: More LiLo ridiculousness
WTF is her problem??
perez hilton reported yesterday that lilo was saying she plans to put in overtime at the morgue and said she is planning to continue that everyday been now and nov 2.
she's dumb. if it were anyone besides a celeb would they go to jail for this kind of behavior??
I am watching the Supernanny right now and I believe lilo could benefit from Jo's training - even if she is in her 20s. She clearly behaves like a 12 year old.
And I agree with pp, the court should actually do something or just let her run rampant. The leniency lilo has been shown is ridiculous.
I figured it out. For a felony you get no bail. Misdemeanor you get bail. I am still so annoyed! (I think these are California rules. They sound like celebrity rules to me.)
An underlying issue is that as of October 1st, CA had to realign its prison sentencing program to comply with orders from the Supreme Court regarding overcrowding. As a result, thousands of criminals who were in state prisons on felonies are being sent back to county jails to serve their sentences. The county jails do not have space to handle this influx of felons from the prisons, so misdemeanor offenders, low-level felons, probation/parole violators, etc. are being released extremely early.
Basically, cases like LiLo's are a very low priority now on the scale of who should take up one of the few spaces in a facility.
I don't think this is a circumstance of "celebrity rules." It's a circumstance of budget and constitutional woes.
Wasn't her probation revoked? Maybe that's why bail was set?
Her next court date is in November and she's going to jail. She knows that and that's probably why she's blowing off her community service. She probably assumes it won't make a difference.
ETA: My bad...I assumed the article said she was a no-show at the morge because I was too lazy to read it.
Now, how much time she spends in jail? That's another story. Hopefully it's a substantial amount of time.
