Thankful Thursday
Feeling slightly funk-ish so I am forcing myself to look at the positives today. Therefore.....it is Thankful Thursday!
I am thankful that my new puppy is becoming less timid everyday and is feeling more comfortable in my house.
I am thankful for the opportunity to see old friends and acquaintances this weekend at a dinner/happy hour.
Even though I hate my job, I am thankful to have one because it could be a whole lot worse.

Re: Thankful Thursday
Like you I am thankful for having my job though I often contemplate on giving up. My job allows me to provide for my son including health care.
I am thankful I am meeting a friend tonight after work to chat.
I am thankful that work provides free starbucks coffee and 4 choices of milk to put in coffee.
I am thankful for the fact that I am able to my triathlon on Sunday!
I am thankful for my grumpy cat who turns 11 today.
I am also extremely thankful for an amazing boyfriend who took my racing tri bike into the shop, changed the chain, had it completely lubed and cleaned to make sure it is in tip top shape for our triathlon on Sunday. I had NO idea he was doing it until I went to his place and my bike was pretty much brand new!! It was filthy before and never cleaned in the 3 years I have had it.
I will be better with my bike from here on out. I promise.
I am also thankful for my Mom. The past couple months she has helped me more than she knows.
They see us rollin'...they be hatin'.

I am thankful for my DS. The other day he crawled over to me and put his little hand on my leg, smiled and leaned in for a hug. I almost lost it. Mind you he was pulling himself up on the t.v. two seconds later, but it didn't matter after that.
I am in a strange way thankful that I was laid off. I've received calls back from two potential employers already and am keeping my fingers crossed for the one in the city.
I am thankful for my family. Every last one of them.
I am thankful today for my parents. They have helped me so much since the big D and I honestly dont know what Id do without them.
I am thankful for my amazing daughter who never ceases to make me proud.
I am thankful that my rings sold yesterday. On XH's birthday. Other than my car, I will officially be debt free.
I am thankful for my guardian angel. She sends me signs every now and then that she's still looking out for me.
I am thankful that I will soon be (somewhat) moving out of my condo. My neighbors suck.
I am extremely grateful for the progress I've made in the past year. This time last year I was making the decision to finally leave... I was a wreck and to see where I'm at now, with my own home and a peace and happiness I never thought would feel this great, is just awesome.
I'm thankful for all of my wonderful friends too who helped me through that tough time!
I am thankful that after my test tomorrow I only have one class left until graduation. Along with that, I am thankful I have survived nursing school with my sanity still intact.
I'm thankful that I'm healthy because if you have your health, no matter what else is going on, you have everything.
I'm thankful for my family. They have been such a constant support to me since I left XH.
I'm thankful it's going to be a beautiful weekend!
I am thankful for my friend JB - she has been my rock through the this entire process. We met on the local knot board 3+ years ago. She just found out about 1 hour ago that she'll have another miscarriage (#3). I am just so incredibly sad for her and her DH. I hope I can be half the friend to her that she's been to me while she's going through this difficult time.
I am thankful for my sweet Ivory cat - her sillyness makes me smile even though its hard to do on most days.
I am thankful I was told to come over to this board. Even though I lurk most days, it's comforting to know that there is a huge support system here whenever I need it. Thanks ladies!!

I am thankful to be where I am in my life and am proud that I made the decision to leave. Also thankful that I hardly even think about my divorce of XH most days (I just realized I went through the month of August without even thinking/remembering XH's bday or anniversary!).
I am thankful for my family. They have been so good to me always.
I am thankful for the BF. I can be crazy sometimes but he doesn't seem to mind (too much...jk lol).
I am thankful I took my midterm last night so I dont have to study again until next week!
I am thankful my dad is coming into town this weekend. It will be good to chill with him and for him to help me with stuff around my house.
I am thankful that my recent certification is opening more doors for me and that I will be making more money and dig myself out of debt.
I am thankful for my BF who is great and always willing to communicate instead of getting angry or holding back.

-A girls trip to vegas with one of my besties in April.
-My adorable three year old niece who always makes me smile and has amazing unconditional love.
-My girlfriend C who always there for me.
-That I have finally found a job that I enjoy going to each day. I don't know how I'd make it through the day without it. I really feel peaceful here, which is weird right?

I'm thankful DS1 is finally on the mend from a weeklong bout with the flu and pneumonia.
Is it corny to say I'm thankful to have found this board? My story may be a little different from most of yours but I'm glad to be part of a community of women at varying stages of "testing the water." It makes me feel less ... different.
I am thankful that I have a place to call all my own that is not only the biggest place I have ever been in on my own (without roommates) but it is also the coolest. It has everything I wanted in an apartment and more.
I am thankful for my job and how it gives me challenges and joy. I love that I learn new things and I have a great group of people that I get to eat lunch with every day.
I am thankful for the seasons changing with the calendar. I have never in my life experienced anything like this, and it is truly phenomenal. I mean, when I look out side, it LOOKS like fall!! No more of this cold summer, hot autumns, cool winters, and random springs. I actually saw leaves change color this year, it is kind of amazing.
