Funny Dream - I must've missed you guys
So I can't remember a lot of it, and I know when I woke up I felt like more had happened in the dream, but I had a dream about nesties last night lol.
I know for sure that Cwimer and Ritzy were in it - and for some reason Cwimer made these awesome delicious cakes and me and her and Ritzy were lugging around these files of Cwimer's. It was so strange but must've been my brain's way of saying I needed to get on and visit
Re: Funny Dream - I must've missed you guys
It was quite funny - but the cakes were really elaborate creations lol.
LoL.... that's hilarious Erin. I'm touched! haha
If it makes you feel any better, I've had bizarre dreams about fellow Nesties as well. I can't even recall what they were about at this moment, but I know I've at least had a few.
How is little James doing?
James is doing great - he's loving his time with his Aunt/Cousin while Mommy brings home the bacon lol. Getting huge and generally being adorable daily.
How's Lily? I can't believe she's almost 3 wks old already! Does Emma like being a big sister? How are you adjusting to having two LOs?
I love his new picture! He has such cute "little" cheeks! haha
How has it been going back to work? That's great that you have family that can watch him while you're away. Do they come to your house or do you drop him off every morning?
Lily is doing wonderful! She generally sleeps a ton and constantly dozes off during mealtime so she's still somewhat of a little peanut. She lost a bit of weight in the hospital but she's back up to about 8lbs now, which is so silly to me because Emma was almost 9lbs when she was born and was never actually this little as an "outside baby". So I still think she looks ridiculously tiny.
Emma loves being a big sister and I think she's adjusted really well. She loves helping me get diapers or burp cloths when needed, and whenever Lily cries she'll either run to me and say "Mama! Lily's crying!" or she'll rub her head and say "shhhhh". It's so cute. She has little moments here and there where she'd like us to put down the baby so we can play with her, but she's never really gotten upset or had a tantrum over it. I've become a master at the one-handed football baby hold so that I can do XYZ with Emma while still holding Lily.
My family and friends have been really great at including her in the mix as well though, whether it be by giving her presents as well as Lily, or just spending extra time with her when they come to visit. So I'm sure that's played a big role in her adjustment as well.
