Colorado nestie with a question for you...
Hi ladies! I was hoping someone could tell me about what the weather is like right now. I read the temps, but the humidity always screws with me (coming from a very dry state!). I was there last month and packed waaay too warmly, the humidity made it feel much warmer than 70 or whatever.
So tell me, what kind of stuff is comfy to wear these days? Should I pack sweaters or will I be cooking??
TIA!
Re: Colorado nestie with a question for you...
When are you coming? What are you doing while you're here?
I feel like the weather is different every day. I recommend just bringing a lot of layers rather than heavy sweaters. That's how I deal with the weather here until it drops below 55 or goes above 75 consistently.
I am attending my grandfather's funeral
We fly in Sunday and I will be there until Thursday. Funny, what you said describes the weather here in CO, changes all the time. I guess I will just pack what I would wear here. Thanks!
Lately, I've been wearing extremely thin sweaters (aka a little thicker than a long sleeve shirt), with a zip up sweatshirt, that could pass as a light jacket. Sweatshirt is usually off by 10am, sleeves are pushed up by noon, windows are opened for a couple hours. I just shut my office window. Layers will be going slowly back on. I'd bring a light jacket & an umbrella. It's been windy & rainy here lately.
