WTF is wrong with me

I'm posting under this name because it's so embarrassing.

I freakin woke up in the middle of the night to find out I wet the bed. HUH??? I'm definitely not pregnant (surely that's not a symptom anyway!). I don't feel well at all today plus that's been bothering me. I've never done that ever. I didn't drink extra water and remember my dream and it had nothing to do with water or bathrooms.

We have a giant bed so I put a towel over my spot (have a waterproof mattress cover) and went and slept downstairs. H never noticed until he found me downstairs this morning. I came home over lunch and washed the sheets. I think I'm too embarrassed to tell him.

Re: WTF is wrong with me

  • I wet the bed about three years ago for no apparent reason. I"ve also done it while drunk-classy! So, at least you're not alone.

  • Did you take any medicine that might have made you extra tired?  Have you just been extra tired/deep sleeping in general lately?  Has anything been upsetting or extra stressful lately?

That sucks, but I think it just happens sometimes.  I've had friends tell me the same thing before because they felt the same way you did....I told them I didn't imagine it was a biggy if it was an isolated event.

  • There's an ongoing argument in my house over who peed beside the bed in college in the middle of the night. It was a giantass puddle. I swear on my life that DH did it.

I'm sorry you peed, but you're in good company.

Have you had a baby? Do babies do that to you?

    Happiest place on Earth!

  • I did this once.  When I finally admitted it to my DH he looked really guilty.  Apparently he accidently rolled over and hit me really hard in the belly.  He said it was hard enough that it woke him up.  He thinks he squeezed the pee out of me.

  • Thanks girls---it helps to know I'm not the only one who has done this. Glad I'm in good company:)

I've never had a baby and have no idea if babies do that to you! No extra medication or extra tiredness. Pretty normal lately except for last night. Hopefully is it an isolated incident!

  • Been there, done that and I wasn't even drunk.

DH has done it two or three times in the 5 years we've been sharing a bed.

If it makes you feel any better, I sneezed 5 minutes ago and peed a little.
