Random & an AW inside
I'm starting a Random post because its super slow in here today.
I got my supplies to start testing my blood sugar yesterday afternoon when I got home from work. I test just now (2 hrs after my breakfast meal) and it was a 73. Super excited because it just needed to be a 120 or less.

Re: Random & an AW inside
Yay! I'm glad your sugar was where it needed to be!
I'm eating chili from Wendy's. Why? Because I wanted it. Maybe it will get me out of this BSC mood I've been in since Sunday.
Woohoo!
I am loving the new iPhone/iPad update! I no longer have to turn off java or type in HTML to post. I'm also thinking of having a second cup of coffee, just because I'm still in a crappy mood over T having to go back and AF coming.
Aw, Kari! I hope you start to feel better soon.
Last night we went to a last minute relief concert being held for the Wildfires that hit us not too long ago. It was an AWESOME concert that lasted 5 flippin hours. To end the night were the Dixie Chicks and George Strait. There were also many other performers but those were def my favorite. We ended up leaving our house at 5:30 and got home at exactly 12:30. Poor E had to be up for work at 4. I know he was tired. I was/am tired and my alarm went off at 6!
Laura, that sounds like an awesome concert!!
Today's my last day in the office for a week and I'm feeling a little stressed. 509 mid-semester warnings were mailed out YESTERDAY to students' home addressses, and the last day they can withdraw from a class and get a W is THIS FRIDAY. Talk about giving students very little notice (especially if their home is over 2 hours away and they don't live there during the school year). Since I won't be in the office the rest of the week, I have to carefully plan the voicemail and email away messages I put up while I'm gone (giving students directions on how to withdraw from classes and who to contact to do so), and give other offices heads up about students who may be coming their way. Poor timing for me to be out of the office. :-/ My own fault though...
Way to go Laura! That is a great number for your sugar!
I am working today. I actually just finished interviewing 3 college grads for new hires. It is so funny to see how young they all seem and how long ago that was in my life. I have to debrief on them and rank them which I hate doing. I understand we can't hire them all, it is just hard to choose.
I am mad b/c I am in an awful mood and I ran out of Hershey kisses at my desk!
This reminded me of a very funny story. A while ago Matt was going grocery shopping. I made up the list b/c of course he didn't know what we needed. So I put on the list that I wanted 'hugs and kisses' as a joke. He comes home with a bag of Hershey hugs candy and a bag of Hershey kisses lol.
That is so awesome! lol
Haha that's really cute!!
For real?
I need to update!
Dup post...
so I'll use this space to say: Cute story Krissy!
And Yay Laura!
And feel better Yvonne and Kari!
My only random right now is that I have a label maker spread out around me. Fun stuff. <eye roll>
Yay Laura!
And I agree, that is a cute story Krissy!
-Last night was the first night I slept more than 4 hours total in over 2 weeks. I slept 6 and it was GLORIOUS!
-I'm buying my kid uggs and I don't care who picks on me for it. I hate the other boots I have seen, and I refuse to do 200000 snaps/ties/velcro pieces for him to go outside for 30 seconds. Of course, I am buying them with a coupon....heaven forbid I pay full price for anything.
-I knocked over $50 buck off my Target purchase today thanks to my obsessive couponing. I may have been smiling ear to ear when the cashier told me my total was $30 and gave me a high five. I'm that cool.
That is great news Laura! My good friend has GD and she was due last friday and is now overdue. Both momma and baby are still doing great.
-Yay for coupons!
-I went to my breast feeding support group this morning and now I am at my moms. We went for a walk with Brin and he fell asleep and know if I put him in the car he will wake up so I am hanging out for a bit longer.
Nice work!!! You must share your secrets!
Ahhhh! I just updated! Wow... I'm kinda impressed. I sorta feel that this iPad reached perfection!
I know! I loved my iPad before, now I'm seriously super in love with it. The update is great and I love the tabbed browsing now and not having to do HTML. Now if only we could PIP and link without having to use HTML codes, the it would be perfection!
Yes!
And I do love the new apps they added...the reminders one might be my new best friend.
