I am making the Amy Butler Cosmo Bag from her Style Stitches book for my mom's birthday present. Has anyone else made it? It has sooooo many pieces! It's taken me 3 mornings to cut out all the interfacing and fabric, plus my mom has hinted she wants some special pockets for scissors, pens, crochet needles, etc so I'm adding an additional pocket.
At the same time, it's been fun to make. Will post a PIP when I'm done. I hope to finish sewing tonight...wish me luck!!!
There are lots of reviews and tips on sewing this, thank goodness! Here's one, for example: http://alewivesgirl.blogspot.com/2011/03/amy-butlers-cosmo-bag-pattern-review.html
Ok back to work! Have a great day, ladies!
Re: Anyone make the Amy Butler Cosmo Bag?
I made one of the bags from that book and felt like even for a simple bag there were lots of pieces to cut and the instructions were kind of hard to follow.
I got it done, but haven't rushed back to the book to make more.
Good luck. The cutting is the most tedious part of any sewing project!
