Any Halloween plans?..

Our goddaughter's parents who are also our best friends, invited us over for Halloween. We are planning on handing out candy to the kiddos and taking our goddaugher trick or treating around the neighborhood. After that we plan on watching some halloween theme movies and enjoy some drinks.

Anyone else have any plans?

Re: Any Halloween plans?..

  • well I am handing out candy to all the little kiddies ( I may even dress up) while I do this my husband is taking out Jordan and his friend Tyler. Jordan is going to be a ninja.
  • On the 29th we have two Halloween parties. One is my uncles annual birthday/Halloween party. The other one is being thrown by one of the partners at my firm. Both require costumes and I have no idea what Jason and I are going as, I really need to get a plan in place.

On actual Halloween we're having a potluck at work, then in the evening I'll hand out candy at our house.

  • Supervising the school dance!
  • Nothing spectacular.

I think there is a UFC on the 29th so I'll go hang out with friends and then on the 31st I'm on call.  We do like to hand out candy but it's also a Monday and we usually go hang out at our friends and watch TV from the night before (The Walking Dead).  We'll have to figure that out.

  • No plans here. We don't get hardly any kids at the house, either, so it's a normal Monday night. MIL asked if we were trick-or-treating, and I not so politely said no. The woman has been driving me bonkers, so I think I was just snotty the rest of the night. I just can't spend the money to dress up my baby who doesn't have a clue what's going on. He does have a Halloween outfit, though. No worries.

  • Nope.  I'll just answer the door at home.

  • I'll be dressing the dog up and handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters. We usually only get ~10 but it's still fun to see them all dressed up.

I want to dress up my dogs too but I'm not sure if they would be happy about that.

Jake is funny. He actually loves dressing up for Halloween. I assume because he knows that when he's dressed up he'll get even more attention. When I got his costume I got it out to try it on him, and he was so excited. He ran over and let me put it on and then pranced around the house. He's a 100 pound dog so the fact that he likes dressing up just cracks me up.

I can just imagine! My dogs like wearing sweaters in the winter. Maybe I can make them think the costume is a sweater.....

  • I'm just taking the boys out trick or treating with some of their friends from school then coming home, shutting all the lights off and having a quiet evening sorting candy.
