Nooner or other Foodies
I am trying a recipe that I found on pinterest and it calls for 8ozs of beer but it doesn't say what kind. Is there a specific kind that I should use? TIA

hmm, I've never heard of beer in onion soup before! I think you have a lot of flexibility, pick something you really like the flavor of. I'd stay away from a basic domestic like Bud Light, I'd also stay away from any kind of wheat beer.
Any kind of amber, IPA (but only if you like drinking IPAs), even a porter or stout would work. We big fans of anything amber, so if I were makin it, we'd probably use Fat Tire or something like that.
