Evie's new favorite book is baby bear baby bear what do you see (we read it about 3-4 times in a row.. sometimes more)
So my local fabric place had the eric carle pannel you made into the matching game! So I may be yoinking your idea for Christmas for her. Did you use any interfacing to make them stiffer? And the curly Qs you have, is that a setting on your machine? Makes them look so pretty!
Just wanted to let you know! So excited to make them!
Re: rockymountaingirl
That's awesome that your local fabric store sells the panel, I've had a hard time in the past finding that panel online.
I used fusible fleece to make the squares a little thicker which makes them a little stiffer too. And the curly Qs is a setting on my machine. I was originally going to make a tight zig-zag like I've seen several other people do but I didn't like the look as much. I think any kind of decorative stich would look good.
Have fun making them! Let me know if you have any more questions about how I made them, I'd be happy to share my process.

I bought that fabric after Nikki posted the project. It's still in my craft corner. Someday...
