We didn't have sex before marriage but when we stayed with his mom last month we only did when she wasn't home. It still just weirded me out a bit. It's not like sex is taboo or anything, in fact we often talked about it/joked about it. I have a hard enough time concentrating in the moment on it, let alone knowing that his mom was in the other room.
I think some of it goes back to being a kid and hearing my parents...not fun..don't want to make anyone else suffer like I did, haha.
