so I'm thinking about getting this ring because it's simple and I really like it (saw a similar one a while ago and haven't seen them carry one since):

anyway, I entered the 30% F&F code and below it is says "enjoy 30% off your entire order (plus free ground shipping to all 50 states!). please note, items discounted 50% or more, including our friends and family discount, are final sale."

um, how can I get 50% off?! :P Just curious if that's possible or it's just saying if that happens magically...

I think the 50% is a general disclaimer, like if you're using the 30% F&F on sale stuff.

ack, I can't believe I'm buying stuff! I keep telling myself that this time next year H will have a job, so I can pre-spend, right??

ETA: also, I have no idea what size ring to get - I emailed H to ask him what size my e-ring is because I don't even know :-/ (I'm not sure, but I would like to wear it on my middle finger, so I thought I'd go up from my e-ring size)

well, my hands are small, but my fingers are actually not that slender :P I have friends with smaller rings than me who are taller/bigger than me. For some reason, I think that my e-ring is *maybe* a 6.5? Which is why I'm leaning towards 7 for a middle finger. Ack! Why won't H email me back!?

ooh, that's a good idea. I will definitely do that today if H doesn't know (I guess I'm seeing him at 11:30 for lunch, so I can *try* to wait until then, lol)

I know, I'm kind of excited about it I remember seeing a beauty vlogger wearing one (it was more flat and 'splayed' out) and they haven't carried one like it since - at least not that I could find. I really really hope it looks good on me - for being a petite person, I have ugly fingers :-/

lol ok, so I guess they aren't as 'monstrous' as I thought, he said 5 1/4, which still seems wrong to me, I could swear it was bigger, but I'll get the 6!

5 1/4 is the size of my wedding ring....i bought a fake size 6 to get me through the pregnancy....and right now, the 6 doesn't fit on my mid finger....goes down *just* below the knuckle, but that's it. but that's prob because my fingers are swollen a bit...i think 6 would work..but if you don't want it to be too tight, try 6.5?

yes, if the options are 6 or 7, i'd definitely go with 6. since 6 will prob fit, just be snug.
