Ideas for couples thing this weekend?

This is our anniversary weekend (SEVEN years!).  Senior Crazos is going up to my mom's house for the weekend.  We will have ALL day Saturday and Sunday ALONE, TOGETHER.  Do the caps amply portray my excitement?  Nearly every year, we go downtown, walk around, do some shopping, and then go to dinner.  Sometimes we see a movie.  We always have a good time, but I think this year, we'd like to mix it up a bit.

I'm pretty sure that James is taking me somewhere nice for dinner, but during the days, I'm trying to think of some things we can do.  I think we are going to head up to U Village and do some pottery painting, but other than that, I don't know.

Are there any good movies playing?  Can anyone think of anything that would be nice to do as a couple that is not outdoors and isn't too expensive?

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.

  • oh i love pottery painting! did you get the groupon/LS that was yesterday, the day before or something for pottery painting? i swear that was at redmond though. IF you did, you can do that + wine tasting nearby! :)

but if you're sticking with u.village, i would check out maybe museums or something you can walk around in.

If dinner reservations haven't been made, you should go to Barking Frog. It's super yummy.

  • I was going to suggest wine tasting as well.

Downtown my choice would be going to the aquarium or museums.

I've heard good things about this place, but James told me NOT to make reservations for dinner.  So, I'm taking that as him having made some - he better have! Wink

  • If you don't want to go to Woodinville to taste you could go to Urban Enoteca in SODO - They have a bunch of wineries from Eastern Washington
