jumped ship to the new and improved nest. back to TB for baby boards.
true, it isn't really accurate, but I guess it's still kind of applicable. If I was on my own making the amount I do now, I would still be pretty poor in the grand scheme of things - having to also 'support' H does make it worse for us to 'survive', but on the whole my income is still low. So it's not really about how rich you feel, just about whether your household income is high or low (basically below the richest in the country). I think...

Best sound ever: baby's heartbeat! (Heard @ 10w1d)
As a single person - I am proud to say my household scored quite nicely. Better then I expected.
Wait - am I allowed to be proud of my percentage? Or does that make me all pretentious and everything?
I would say if you earned your "spot" ...then yes, you can be proud.....but if it was just "given" to you, then you are pretentious.
just kidding.
My percentage sounds good, but it doesn't feel very "rich" every month. Might have something to do with all those student loans...
Yeah, my mortgage is seriously cramping my style. I would have buckets of spending money if I were just renting a 1-bedroom apartment. Stupid mortgage.
But I love owning a house.
I know, right? If I didn't have a mortgage, student loans, car payment, water, garbage, electricty, cell phone, cable/internet....I would be rolling in it! lol
Hahaha, same here. Stupid companies, wanting me to actually PAY for things. Jeeze!
I love my house but hate my mortgage!
