New Air Force wife. Hello ladies.
I'm a spouse to an Airman. I really dont know much about the lifestyle. I have just been following what DH was told to be sure was done. I have so far gotten lost on-base and will not drive there at all. I am scared to death of doing something wrong and giving him trouble. Also has anyone lived at Hurlburtfield, Fl? Any tips would be great.
I have been trying to prepare for this for two years, it didnt prepare me as much as I needed.
Thank you in advance. Have a beautiful day!
Re: New Air Force wife. Hello ladies.
My H is a Pilot in the AF. I don't know how often your H's job will deploy but they keep my H pretty busy. Our base in general has been the busiest it's ever been, but things should be slowing down now that things are changing w/ Libya.
I know my H deploys anywhere from 3 to 9 months but deploys more often (ie. multiple times in a year) then other branches.
Ask your H if their is a Spouse Group for his squad. It was really easy for me to find ours on Facebook. They usually do things monthly plus they should also have a group for Enlisted Spouses. Great resources to tap
