The husband and I were talking about my having to schedule an appointment at the salon, and I got curious...
Sorry if this one's been done before...
Finding the history of these is kind of hard!

Bonus for the comments: How long do you keep your hair?
Re: Haircut clicky!
- I only go once a year because it's so expensive and the rest of the time when I feel I need a trim, my mom does it for me. When I got it's to get it freshly layered/styled etc (my mom isn't a pro, but she does a good job and has done it for a long time). I will totally go more often when we can afford it.
- I also don't really have a 'hair style' - my typical hair situation has been to grow it, chop it in the summer, repeat. This past summer I decided not to chop it and to keep letting it grow (now it's at least halfway down my back, although I really need a trim). But I need to thin/layer every year because I have pretty thick hair.

that sounds exactly like me. lol.
lately i've been going because i've been getting highlights. but i think i'm over it. i think i'll probably dye my hair all one color soon and let it continue to grow.
I color and highlight my own hair (I've been doing it for 10+ years) but do coordinate the timing of my highlights with my haircut. And since I keep it shoulder length, I can go 3-4 months between cuts.

This is me too. I get a few hair cuts between the long to short cut, but it's rare b/c (1) it's expensive, and (2) I'm lazy. But, I really should do it more. It makes such a difference to get a trim, layers and thinning. I am in desperate need of something right now.
Dup.
i'm working on compiling a history of all our clickies from the last year...august 2010->current. i'm on march right now
i chose "what's a salon?"
my track record is usually about once every 2-4 years....to cut my hair for locks of love. i've done it twice now at 7 salon (the last 2 times)...once at hair masters (or whatever) and once at home..... only once i've gone in between to hair masters? or something. i don't usually trim my hair..and my hair stays pretty healthy in between (no split ends).

That's awesome!! Looking forward to seeing it.
Wrt locks-of-love, good for you!!
I've done that a couple times, too.
Most-recently, I've started keeping my hair shorter, which necessitates more cuts, though, sigh.
