...if you had been looking for a new vehicle for quite a while and you knew exactly what you wanted, would leather be a deal breaker for you?
Finally found the exact vehicle that I want (it actually has more bells & whistles than were on my list) but it isn't leather.
Re: New car question....
Hmm, probably would not be a dealbreaker.
We didn't go searching for leather; it was just a bonus our car came with it. The second I drove it away from the lot, though, I said to myself, "I'm never not driving a car w/o leather again!"
Now give me the deets on the car! (BBM, please!)
I'm actually not a huge fan of leather seats. I do love the heated seats in our Jetta...but they're SO hot in the Summer. So, to me, it wouldn't be a deal breaker.
Edit: Guess my opinion doesn't really matter, since I don't have kids.
So does Subaru.
With kiddos....leather a deal breaker.
Without kiddos.....indifferent.
But I do love my heated and cooled seats in my new car. Cant imagine being without now.
Good luck!
love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone
little h gets car sick..... I had to rug doctor the cloth seats in dh's car. not a good situation.
leather gets hot and sticky in the summer
not a deal breaker for me
I'd rather have cloth, so leather isn't a deal breaker for me.
Cloth may be harder to clean with a kid, but I'd assume a good detailing could get almost anything out, so as long as it had everything else you were looking for, I'd go for it.
I love the leather in my new car and thought I would hate it prior to buying it. It's dark grey, and I've had no issues with the car being ungodly hot and I had it in Oklahoma for a week when the temps were 110+ everyday. Granted my windows are tinted but still.
How long do you plan to keep the car? Have you driven it with the cloth? For mine the leather is way more comfortable than cloth.
