Who's here? What are you doing today?
I've been working on English to French translations all afternoon, I hope to be done with them soon. After this I need to make cranberry sauce with the cranberries I just bought, they're only in the stores here for like one week in October. I'll freeze the sauce and save it for Thanksgiving.
Sundays are my day of torturous French homework
Re: Who's around?
Sunday's are excellent for Internet-window-shopping.
I'm here too! Why don't you just freeze the cranberries and then thaw and make the sauce fresh for Thanksgiving? We do that to make cranberry sauce year round and it's great.
I'm going to brunch with my parents and then out with the DILF again today (we hung out yesterday). Will post a dating update tomorrow.
Yeah you can freeze cranberries. Probably will taste better than frozen sauce but take up more room. They don't freeze solid together though so you can just mould them around whatever is in there--like how corn and peas freeze.
I'm here too and procrastinating from my homework as well. Looks like that's the theme of the day!
I'm supposed to give a 1/2 presentation tomorrow on a research project I have not yet begun. Gulp!
Hope MiniBini starts sleeping some more, MrsBini!
I'm here! DH just got home from working out, and we just had dinner. Now we're going to Skype with his family, and hopefully relax a bit on the couch before heading to bed.

I froze a ton of different berries in our little freezer too. Blueberries and raspberries when I knew we wouldn't eat them all before they spoiled. Then I would pull them out for smoothies or for muffins.
I've been packing up my bedroom at my parents. It's a lot of work as I expected and it's been really hard to decide what to keep. Taking a lunch break right now and then I guess I'll be working in there till dinnertime.

I'm here, sort of. Mom and Dad are leaving tomorrow morning very early, so I'm going to have a lot more free time now. DH and I are very tired, having essentially been "go go go" since the American wedding in August. We're both ready to just be us again!
DH has been plugging away at a mountain of ironing for the last +/- 1.5 hours, and there's still more to go. I'm going to continue once I finish making tomorrow's lunches. We haven't ironed since my parents got here - we haven't had time!
We're sad to see them go, but it sure sounds like they had the trip of their lives. I sincerely hope they come back soon! Unfortunately, I doubt it.
Alright, I just heard a pop. Hope the turkey hasn't burned.
