seattle restaurant week ideas

I want to try somewhere yummy and new... The hubs likes seafood and I don't. Anyone here going to check any of them out? If so - where?

Re: seattle restaurant week ideas

  • I went to Seastar (in Bellevue, but they also have one in Seattle).  I like seafood and DH doesn't, but he does like sushi.  We had sushi for the appetizer, he  has beef for entree (I had fish), and both of our desserts were good.  They have items that aren't seafood for appetizers as well.

  • Not much help on the seafood aspects of things...But, we're trying Spur Gastropub tonight - obviously not the restaurant week menu, but I'll report back.

Next week we have reservations at Volterra in Ballard. One of their restaurant week options is spicy shrimp pasta.

I'd recommend Golden Beetle in Ballard as well if you haven't been. We love it. No sense in us going on restaurant week though, because we've already had everything on the restaurant week menu.

I really, really, like Volterra. If you get a chance, go for their brunch too. The duck hash thing they have is really good.
