Retirement gift ideas
My dad is retiring this week and I can't come up with any great ideas. I'm looking for suggestions. A little description of him is that he has been a machinist his whole career, enjoys hunting and fishing, and messing around in the garage building things. He has all the hunting, fishing, and tools he'll ever need. He's also a sentimental kind of guy too.
Any great ideas would be appreciated.

Is there something he wanted to do/take you kids to but didn't have the time since he was working? (Sports game, theater, etc). You could buy tickets for a family night out, find a picture of you playing catch/in school play, etc and then take a new picture of the similar event.
Then he gets a great night with the family and a memorial photo of then and now.
