frustrated with my brother's wedding
so he's getting married in less than a month...and he STILL has not given me enough details about his wedding to even make his stinkin' invitations.
he still doesn't have a date for a seattle-reception..."because of work"....i told him why don't you just pick a date far-out there then...like march or something..and he said he doesn't know if he has the vacation time.......in MARCH? that's 5 months away. save 1 day, take another day off..whatever. make it work.
IMO. sending out your wedding invitations w/o a home-reception time, also, is stupid. i'm not making him a second set of invitations for that.

I'd give him a deadline of getting you the info and tell him your not making a second set. Does he really expect many people to show up to the Vegas wedding less than a months notice?
On your invitation you could put "home reception to be held at a later date" or something a bit classier and leave the second set to him to make or provide.
she told me she "likes pink and lillies". i don't have anything lily-like...and i don't know how much effort i want to put into it. i might find a nice line drawing to print on the invite..or a stamp or something that i can put on later. not sure....
so far the invite is black background, bring pink layer, and i'm going to print the actual invite on white cardstock in black and pink font... i bought some pink/white/black diamond accents..don't know how i'm going to incorporate everything, but whatevz. i'm sick of their wedding.

Are they doing separate invites for both? If so ) agree with Jennuinne about an evite for the at home reception... Or they can do them themselves!

ugh. i wish. my parents would be super pissed at me if i didn't do this for their perfect baby boy. but i did tell my brother if i wasn't getting any more addresses, he was shipping them himself... i forgot, totally should've bought stamps at costco today!
i told my brother i wanted names of the people on his guestlist, because i was making an RSVP website for him....he said, "can't you just put your phone number as RSVP and have people call you?" um. heII no. i'm not taking the rsvp's for HIS wedding.
