Recommend your skinny jeans
I'm not totally on the bandwagon as I am surrounded by teenagers with them and I'm not sure I have the body for them. But I have a killer pair of riding boots now and my trouser jeans and boot cuts don't work. Bonus points if they are from gap or old navy as I have rewards money!
Re: Recommend your skinny jeans
I *love* Bullhead Jeans from PacSun. I have like no butt and most jeans suck on me, but these fit perfect. Their size selection online isn't very good, but they usually have a good selection in store.

No experience with Gap/ON jeans though
Skinny jeans are really hit or miss for me. The gap was a huge miss. The only skinnies I own are from old navy. I think they are the divas. And then I really like their jeggings as well. The black are really cute. Skinny jeans are definitely worthy of a shopping trip to try them on to see what fits you well.
I have skinny jeans and jeggings from several stores: Gap, Old Navy, and Forever 21. The Gap ones are great quality and fit me really well. The Old Navy and Forever 21 ones are terrible quality but they fit well and they were cheap. I think that you definitely need to try on skinny jeans to make sure you are getting a good fit.
I'm totally loving skinny jeans with cuffs and ballet shoes or loafers. I never thought that look would be flatternig on me but one I found good fitting jeans, I was sold!

Mine are all from forever21... like Jenn said, definitely not the best quality, but I want to say they cost less than $15 so I didn't expect too much. They fit great & I've found them to be the most comfortable/stretchiest. I currently have a pair of skinnies that are gap maternity that I'm also loving at the moment, but don't have any experience with their regular ones.
On a side note: do share these killer riding boots with us please!!
This! I am in the market for both riding boots and skinny jeans:)
I have a couple of pairs of skinny jeans from ON that actually have a bit of flare at the bottom. I know that sort of negates the definition of "skinny jeans," but ON still advertised them as skinny jeans, so... go with it.
They are form-fitting everywhere else, but flare out a bit at the bottom, which I love for my body type. I had them on the other day and was trying on some riding boots--I was still easily able to tuck the jeans in the boots because the jeans are thin. And because they are fitted throughout the leg, they looked right with the boots, you know?
They are CHEAP quality, but they were $15. They're comfortable and cute. Can't complain.
