Chelsea Settles? *Spoilers*
So I was up late last night and couldn't sleep so I turned on MTV. I had seen commercials about Chelsea Settles but wasn't that interested, but it was on so I watched.
About halfway through Chelsea decides to meet her cousin at a bar and she says its a huge thing for her because she always feels like people are judging her. When she gets to the door the bouncer lets about 4 girls go through then when she gets to the door he asks her to step aside for a minute and keeps letting people go though. Then she decides to go home and when walking to her car people yell ather and call her fat.
While watching this I was so mad and hurt for her. I know bouncers sometimes are really like that (which makes me sick) but the people calling her fat? When she gets home she even says shes never had anyone actually say that to her. I wonder if MTV producers had people do that, or had the bouncer do that as well. I realize she was wearing a large coat, so maybe the bouncer wanted to inspect her real quick, but the name calling was ridiculous.
I feel like after this I may watch her from time to time. Anyone else get sucked into it?

She is from my hometown (uniontown), its very small, so it is a huge deal that she is on tv. She actually went to my high school, but I was a senior when she was a freshman. I think it's a great show and she is a great inspiration to many. It is amazing how the editing makes it look though. Half the places she was weren't even in the town she lives in, like Chick-fil-A or the club, they are both in Pittsburgh.
As far as the bouncer goes, I have been to that club with friends of all sizes and have never had that happen. A rumor from people that where there is that the club had an issue with all the camera and crew, not necessarily her. Still looked awful though. As far as the drunk people, they are just a-holes, I cannot believe people would really act like that.
I truly hope that she can live her dream and does well in LA, I know everyone in Uniontown is cheering for her!!

I can see how that might be the case (about the camera crew being an issue) but they show her cousin inside dancing with people so they had to let the camera crew in for that. That's just what made me think he was doing it on purpose.
