I know this will be posted a million times, but I need help.
We have way too many Christmas' (in my opinion) so G always gets a ton of stuff.
Her list includes: musical instruments, doll stuff(my mom is getting her a nice baby doll), dress up clothes, books, and cds.
I also included sippies, dinner items, diapers, a pair of jeans and possibly a potty chair. (I would love to ask for $$ to put in her college savings account, but would that be rude/)
Anything else your kids love at this age? Or essentials that I could include. She already has quite a few toys. I'd like to find toys she'll play with for quite awhile!
Re: Christmas 18m+
Building blocks like Megabloks or Duplos
Do you have any of the LeapFrog "Fridge" toys - Fridge Farm, Fridge Phonics, etc?
We have both of those; Garage sale deals from this summer!
I don't think asking for money is rude. My grandma asks me what Ella needs, and since she doesn't get around like she used to, I told her money for her savings account would be perfect, and she's from a time when saving money was burned into your brain. So she feels good about giving money. But that's just us. And I think if you say "we'd really like to build up her college account" or something like that. I think you'd be ok.
Bath Toys
Art Easel
Puzzles
Little People Toys (she's a little young @ 18 mos, but eventually)
Thanks ladies! I love the savings bond and membership ideas!
I'd love to get her an easel, but she eats crayons and paint...still! Ugh! maybe for her birthday!
