I enjoyed this last week so I'm doing it again.

Re: High-Lights and Low-Lights of the Weekend?
Highs-My Cowboys won. We had awesome family time this weekend. We did a little baby shopping. I was "testing" my sugar to see what I could and could not eat without failing on my sugar tests...turns out I was able to eat what I normally would and I still passed all my tests! This made me very excited.
Lows-E and I finally opened up our high chair that we got as a shower gift. It ended up being broken so we had to return it to Target and get another. We still have to open the new one and hope it's not broken either.
High - I went to our regional kick-off for NaNoWriMo yesterday. It was fabulous. The group was really on board with my story idea for the year and helped me work out some plot points I was debating. I'm beyond excited for November to get here so I can start writing.
Low - Rocky's not doing well with his cone of shame so we're having to baby him a lot more. And Kali's decided she's not happy with that arrangement because she keeps hissing at him. I'm also not convinced his spot is getting better and I'm afraid we're going to need to do a third trip to the vet this week.

Highs- My SIL's first baby shower was this weekend. It was fun to see her so excited, and the little outfits she got were so cute! I also bought some maternity clothes on Saturday, and I'm pretty sure I'll be living in these leggings for the rest of my life. So comfy!
Low- Morning sickness is at an all-time high.
Highs - All of my teams won....I got Georgetown Cupcakes
Low - Morning..scratch that.. ALL-DAY..sickness has showed up.
Highs: we did our maternity photos on Saturdsy and we had perfect weather. We also attended our friends wedding Saturday night, and yesterday I went to a shower for my friend that's due 3 weeks before me. It was great getting to see peoPle this weekend, but I wish I had more resting time! We also put Pipers crib together last night
MY BLOG
High-My Griz squeaked it out this weekend. I pulled my weed garden up. Almost finished KR's Halloween costume.
Low: I have to have tryouts to fill some spots on the cheerleading squad this week. I'm tired and am NOT looking forward to it.
High: S took a practice test for his PE exam on Friday-he passed it in the top 5%. Baby L 2.0's bump appeared about 2 weeks ago, and this was the first weekend I have been asked "when are you due?" by a stranger.
Low: S and I only got to spend about 2 hours together all weekend because he's studying like a mad man for his test....only 4 more days!
High: Had a wonderful time in childbirth class with A. It was so nice to spend the day with him and he actually paid attention, took notes, and was really involved. Ever since the childbirth class he's been talking about Baby non-stop - I think it really made it real for him.
Low: On Friday we had an external cephalic version to try to flip the baby so I could deliver naturally. The procedure was unsuccessful and the doctor doesn't think the baby will flip at this point. If he/she doesn't we are scheduled for eviction via c-section on 11/10/11. Also, bed rest sucks.

High: We had my friends bachelorette party on Saturday night. It was so much fun, and she had a great time (this is the one with the tooth--it didn't bother her at all so that was a major plus!). I got to spend most of Saturday with one of my Bff's who is here from Utah for the other friends wedding. Definitely a great weekend.
Low- This morning when I got in my car, I first noticed that the drivers side door hadn't shut all the way, I just figured it was me and hoped the car would start (which it did) but then I noticed that some of the stuff that I keep in the little cubby things was on the floor (gum wrappers, empty gum package, basically junk) and a couple of things from the glove compartment were also on the floor. It wasn't DH or me, so someone was clearly in my car rifling through stuff. I stupidly had left it unlocked (although we certainly don't live in a sketchy or unsafe neighborhood) and thankfully I don't keep anything of any value in the car. It's just weird and a little creepy that someone was in my car. Also, I feel like I'm getting sick (AGAIN) and I cannot be sick for the wedding this weekend!
High - Got to spend time with our friends from Long Island and their adorable almost 2 year old. Had a great day with DH yesterday (up until dinner, anyway), which was nice since he's been really busy lately between work and grad school.
Low - DH and I got in a stupid argument at dinner. It was over something totally stupid, and it's not a big deal, but I'm just frustrated because we were having such a nice day, and I didn't want it end that way.
highlight: Steve's reaction when he came home and I had done a deep cleaning of the house. I feel so Cleaver-ish saying this, but it makes me feel really good when he compliments me on keeping the house looking nice.
low-light/ bummer: hurting my back. I'd like to go on record though that the activities immediately before and those which caused the hurt back were definitely highlights.

Laura - I'm so glad to hear that you're doing well with monitoring your sugars. It sounds like you are doing a really good job!
Kate - I don't know if this would help Rocky, but we found a cone of shame alternative at petsmart a few weeks ago. Instead of a cone, it's an inflated collar. It prevents them from being able to mess with anything on their body just like the cone does, but it doesn't cause so much anxiety or stress for your pet. It might be worth a try? Sorry to hear the spot isn't getting much better on it's own.

We talked to the vet about those and they gave it a no-go because he's got a long nose and could get around it. We got him a smaller cone on Saturday and he's doing better with it... he's just not happy about it and it makes me feel bad!

How was that? I've heard that Versions can be quite painful. I don't know if your "bed rest" will allow it, but my chiropractor told me to spend a lot of time on my hands and knees to get the baby into an optimal position prior to delivery. I would just prop up pillows on the couch/bed and flop over them while I watched TV.
Modifying to make it the good, the bad and the ugly!
Good: BIL and SIL finally made it to come and meet their niece.
Bad: Just when I thought I was starting to feel better my "bottom" is hurting really bad again to the point where sitting, walking and sleeping are almost impossible. This seriously sucks.
Ugly: Mackenzie had a projectile vomit session on Friday night while Brice was out of town for meetings and then was having trouble breathing and it freaked me out big time. I was thisclose to calling 911, it really scared me that I didn't really know what to do. Thankfully my sister who lives close came over and kept me company/helped reassure me that everything was ok.
High: T found out he will most likely be coming home almost a week earlier than expected, I can't tell you how excited this makes me if it's true, I might get to spend Thanksgiving with my husband and actually have him home at the right time to TTC again!
Low: I'm exhausted, my face hurts, and I have a headache, I got a flu shot on Friday afternoon and don't know if it's from that or if I'm getting sick. Also I finally got my turn on the hold list to download Mockingjay on audiobook from my library website, the files were corrupted and didn't work right, so I deleted and tried to download again, now it says I've reached my download limit and I can't get it, plus I don't have the book, so I guess I'm going back on the 35 person wait list again, or trying to get a pysichal copy at the library, grrr!
Highs: SO MANY!
Wedding on saturday with LOTS of old college friends, pumpkin festival with friends Friday and spending a lot of quality time with DH
Lows: See dumb post below.....uck.
Honestly, it hurt like hell! I didn't have any pain killers and it felt a lot like late-stage labor pain did with DS. The only good news is that it was over quickly. I've been spending tons of time in crazy positions (hands and knees, upside downish) I even went swimming in my parent's super-cold pool this weekend in hopes that it would help. Baby is just a stubborn little guy/girl and appears to want none of it.

High: H and I had a lot of fun hanging out this weekend.
Low: my throat is kinda sore-ish, but not really... It's weird and I think I have a swollen gland in there. I'm doing my best not to go all hypercondricac. I've only web-md once, but if it's not better in a few days I'm going to the doctor.
High: my fever let me get off work on time on Friday, I got a lot of sleep, and the dogs were angels.
Low: I had a low grade fever all weekend, which David says you shouldn't treat (*eyeroll*) because fevers under 100 help your body fight off infection/illness, so I just slept and was exhausted and feverish all wekend. FUN
