Monday Check-In
It's Monday again. (Aren't we lucky?) How was everyone's weekend?

I had a horrible weekend with a sick baby and a very busy H who is now gone until Friday. At lease DS seems better this morning.

Our weekend was quiet. We went to lunch at Kitchen on Common in Belmont on Saturday, and it was really good. Other than that, we went to the grocery store (exciting!) and hung out. I made aligot on Saturday night, though. I don't know what took me so long to try it- it was delicious! (Though I suspect it's tough to go wrong with cheese and potatoes.)

I spent the weekend on a solo trip to Baltimore
Slept in, shopped, and attended a friend's wedding celebration. I saw some friends I haven't seen in YEARS and enjoyed some lovely local wine. All in all a good time.

I have a baby with a cold too!
We had a very good, but very busy weekend. We bought DS's birthday present though, so at least that is done.
What did you get BabyBooster for his birthday?
OMG!! Is he going to be okay? Poor baby!
DS is getting a Radio Flyer red wagon for his birthday. My mom made a Dr. Seuss quilt to go in it.
A wagon is an awesome idea! I'm still thinking PBK chair but I have yet to decide.
I took the dog out this morning, and I could see my breath. I guess it's time to get all of my fall clothes washed, sigh.
So, I brought her to the vet, they stitched & bandaged her up & sent her home. The stinker chewed her bandage off overnight. I have to bring her back today for another one.
DH was traveling for work this weekend so I was solo. It was a little boring, and I basically spent the weekend just holding/feeding the baby. It was impossible to get anything else done.
DH may be traveling next week so I'll be in the same boat... still waiting to hear.
