Hi ladies! I never post anymore... sorry! Hopefully a few people remember me! ![]()
I'm trying to get enrolled in new benefits - and we are required to pick a primary care physician. I *think* I can pick my ob/gyn, but in the event that I can't - does anyone have a PCP that they like that is within the Fairview system? I'd prefer to stay within the Fairview system because that is what my ob/gyn is in, and because I am fairly close to both Fairview Southdale and Fairview Ridges for emergency purposes. If you can suggest a PCP, I have no preference on male vs female.
I also need to have Joe find a PCP - he hates going to the doctor so he has no loyalty to any one practitioner. So if your H loves his doc (and talks about it - ha! I know this is a stretch) send his name my way so I can suggest that Joe make an appointment to see if he likes him/her too. I think Joe would be most comfortable with a male doctor.

Re: Primary Care Physician? Fairview system, Edina area?
I used to see Dr. Sheldon Burns at Edina Family Physicians! When I went there (a few years ago) they weren't connected to the Fairview system. I'll have to check on this! Dr. Burns is ridiculously hard to get in with, but there were a few other doctors there that I liked.
Thanks!

I see Dr. Melissa Mark at Fairview Uptown. She's been my doctor for 10 years now. I LOVE her. I still see her, even though I'm 300 miles away.
Not sure about a male doctor for Joe....sorry!
