Jingle bell wreath - have you made one?

I'm thinking about making one of these at my next craft weekend - if you've made one, where did you get the one million jingle bells?

Re: Jingle bell wreath - have you made one?

  • You are much more brave than I am!  It may cost you a small fortune in little bells too...but it is adorable.
  • I made a small one. I got some of the bells at the Dollar Tree. I saw bags of small ones somewhere, but for the life of me cant remember.

  • I haven't made the wreath, but I bought a bigger container of bells at Hobby Lobby last year.  They had them in two places (one was in the holiday section and I can't remember where the other was).  For some reason they were different prices so be sure to look around if you go there.  I used a 40% off coupon and the price wasn't too bad.

  • I would look in the ornament section of Hobby Lobby, and see if you can find a container of bells meant to be ornaments. They'll likely be cheaper than buying them from the craft department.

Or see if they have a pre-made wreath, and use a coupon. They are everywhere here, and if you don't like the looks and want to remake it, that might be the cheapest way.

  • I made one slightly smaller than that and used only large and medium jingle bells.  I also have a ribbon wreath with big bells on the knots that I actually like better.

  • Thanks guys! I'm not completely sold on making one, but I'm thinking about it!
  • I think they're adorable and you should totally go for it. I bought bells from Michaels and Jo-Ann's last year for a different project. They didn't have enough in either location so I mixed and matched.
