I thought all men peed standing however I have recently discovered that some may sit down?

After I get out of bed in the morning and am half asleep.
If I need to piss shortly after sex I will also sit down...because at that point the urine is anything but a stream....it is like when you put your thumb over the opening of a water hose and it is spraying all over hell. LOL
So it sounds like the conclusion is that it is not weird or uncommon? So I can assume my BF isn't a freak?

Totally random, but I lived in Germany and when I moved in, there was a sign over the toilet that basically said "be polite and sit to pee" referring to guys. (It was a co ed apartment). I thought it was so weird. When my American roomate moved in, he brought it up in front of our German roomate. Turns out it's totally cultural-the Germans thought the American was weird for NOT sitting down to pee and the American thought the Germans were weird for sitting down to pee. It was pretty funny!
