Fun place for kid's birthday dinner

Today is my daughter's 4th bday, and I feel bad enough that I have to work all day (it's fiscal year end for my company and no vacation time was allowed this month).  Luckily, their dad is home with them today and will take her out for cupcakes and stuff after school...  but we're wondering where to take her for dinner?  I think she'd get a big kick out of having happy birthday sung to her and everything.  Any recommendations for something fairly kid-friendly?

  • The boys always like going to La Mesa because they sing to you in Spanish and you get fried ice cream and to wear the sombraro.  :)

Texas Roadhouse also sings and you get to sit on the saddle and maybe wear a hat?  Plus, kids eat free there on Monday!  :)

  • Great ideas!  I forgot that TR had kids eat free on Mon...

  • Maren's fave place so far for her birthday dinner has been Genji.

  • I was also going to suggest Texas Roadhouse, its a fun place for kids, you can ask your server if they will line dance while you are there too.
