so, what are you reading these days?????

i need some new and fresh material.  I spent way too much time trying to read a book that i was not enjoying.  I could not bear to finish it.

Now to catch up to my goal of 50 books this year I've read two James Patterson novels.

I would like recs for chick lit, romance, suspense and funny books please.

sometimes all you really need in life is a pink wig.

  • I'm reading Before I Go to Sleep by S J Watson.  It is about a woman with amnesia and doesn't remember anything every morning she wakes up until her husband explains things to her.  It is suspenseful and very good.

  • The Other Life by Ellen Meister.  She's an author from Long Island I made FB friends with.  I've read all her books so far.  I'm very new into the book, so no real opinion other than it's keeping my interest so far.

This sounds like Adam Sandler's 50 First Dates.

I just finished reading Jaycee Duggard's "Stolen Life" Definitely a bit disturbing, but a good read. I haven't decided what to read next.

  • I just finished "I don't know how she does it" - a book that the movie with Sarah Jessica Parker was based on.  It was a good read, but I wasn't thrilled with the ending.
