I did love Kathy's response of we live in the same area, shop in the same stores - of course we will have similar things.

I think she had a good point when she brought up Melissa's wedding, how her tastes have changed, but she just can't verbalize anything and comes off like an idiot.
She should have said "Melissa, let's take your wedding. It was a beautiful wedding, but once you married into the family, you saw how over the top the Gorgas do things and you liked the way we do things. I mean, you hired my hair stylist, my clothing stylist, obviously you like my style. And that's great, just own it."

I liked Melissa's response though. Is it hard to believe Melissa always had over the top taste but they didn't have the money for it, by the time of their daughter christening they now had the money to afford all the extra she couldn't get for her wedding.
