Christmas card announcement
So we thought we would tell most people about our little Lion via a Christmas card, just because I will be in tri-2 just when cards need to go out.
Help me brainstorm ideas to make it cute. The one I had was a picture of two adult stockings and one baby one on our stairs..but I'm not sure what to do with it..plus we wanted to include a picture from our Europe trip on our Xmas card originally. Can I do something with both? Something like 2011 has been a a trip of a lifetime from Europe to parenthood. Ugh...not creative today..help!

I've always wanted to use the whole "trip to Europe $$$, something else $$$, something else $$$, realizing there are 3 in this photo, priceless" Obviously you couldn't use the Europe picture because you weren't technically pregnant but you get the idea.
This is how we told my dad!

Our friends sent out holiday cards and it was them sitting with their dog holding a chalk board with their due date written on it.
Otherwise the photo in my siggy of our feet.
I also saw a cute photo on Pinterest of a couple holding up a sign that said "We're" and the guy was holding a jar of Prego sauce... I thought it was cute but some people don't like the term "prego."

The pinterest shoes picture is where I got the original idea...then I turned it into the stockings ideasince it is going to be for an Xmas card.. any other christmas-y things I could do?? Maybe I'll just do the shoes. hmmm.

What about a present under the tree that is opened and inside is an ultrasound photo and pregnancy test??

We got exactly what we wanted for Christmas this year... photo of ultrasound or something.
Teddy bear under the tree holding an ultrasound photo or chalk board with the due date.
I'm trying to think of an idea with an elf too but nothing is coming to mind right now...
You could also reword the lyrics to 12 days of Christmas to be all about baby:
On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me a baby in a pear tree
On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me 2 little booties
3 onsies
4 bottles
Etc?
So I just realized that I have $20 to shutterfly for birth announcements from similac..but it expires before the baby will be born..so I'm doing some via shutterfly holiday birth announcements...
How can I share a photocard I made with you?

I'm late to the game, but I think that's a great idea!
In the section where you have "Love Laura and Ian". You could add in baby.
For example: Love Laura, Ian and Baby yourlastname
I was going to comment on this too. It could add the "aha!" moment for those who don't quite get it the first time around.
