Des Moines Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Update after our appointment with Early Access
We met with Early Access yesterday. Two women, a early childhood ed teacher and a social worker came and evaluated Wesley.
They both said that Wesley doesn't show any scary, obvious signs of autism, but they can't completely rule it out with as young as he is. He was low enough on expressive and receptive speech to qualify for services, but not low enough to make me worry too much.
Early Access will be coming to work with him twice a month to help develop these things and give us some things to try, too.
Thanks for all your thoughts and suggestions, especially Mrs.BWilliams for her wealth of ideas and reassurance!
