Should G have a Halloween costume?
I can't decide whether or not it's pointless to dress him up. On one hand, I really want him to have a costume since it's his first Halloween and I want pictures and I think I'll regret it later if we don't dress him up.
On the other hand, for anyone to see him in his costume we'll have to drive to my parents', to MIL's, SIL's, and probably DH's grandma's. They all live about 40 minutes from us, but all within ~15 minutes of each other. Is it worth the hassle of loading him up and driving to them so that 6 or 7 people can see him?
Would you/did you dress up your LO for their first Halloween? My most favorite costume (a monkey) was sold out when I went to Target last week, and the other less cute ones are going quickly so he may not even have a costume to begin with and my problem will be solved....*sigh*
Re: Should G have a Halloween costume?
I would, and am and C is only a month older than your LO!
I found a chili pepper costume at the local consignment store for 3.99 so I don't feel that bad about it. I don't know that I would spend 20+ dollars on one though.
We don't have any family around either so it will really just be for mine and MHs benefit and for taking pictures. But, if I had all of my family within 15 min of eachother I would go out there and "trick or treat" at each of their houses and let them see LO dressed up.
Yes you should! It's his 1st Halloween! Maybe I'm a little overly sentimental
DS2 has a costume, and I paid too much for it... but I ordered it last minute and I wanted to get one to "go" with DS1's costume.
Do it! Pick out something silly and cute because before you know it he'll be 3 and will want to be Batman.
