How is the viaduct closure impacting your commute?
Is the Viadoom impacting your coummute at all?
I live in West Seattle and commute up to the Green Lake area. I'm a little scared for Monday. I'm hoping that lots of people stay home. I have a meeting at 8am and I plan on leaving at 6am, just in case. Hopefully next week won't be as bad as they think it will be.

my currently-reading shelf:
viaduct? closed? what? where is that again?
(nope, not affecting me)

I work six miles from home, as well, but the closure definitely affects my commute... its impact on commuters is not necessarily tied to commute distances.
Joenali, I commute from West Seattle (Fairmount Park) to the border of downtown and Belltown (near Pike Place Market) and usually catch a 7:20 bus to get in by about 7:50. Today I grabbed a 6:15 bus and was in just after 6:50. I'm sure you got to work in plenty of time.
Tomorrow will likely be much worse. I plan to continue the early bus all week, and leave work around 3:30 to hopefully beat the gridlock on the way home.
