Hey everyone! I'm just popping in quickly to saw hello before we eat dinner (thanks to my Mother who has been cooking) and feed the LO.
Things are going okay at home, my milk is starting to come in and LO has been a champ at eating. It was a little more difficult with just the colostrum, but it's improving for sure.
She was born at 8 pounds 2.7 ounces and discharged at 7 pounds 5 ounces, which is 8%. They said 5-7% is normal, but aren't concerned. She was up most of the night last night, but that was to be expected.
We talked to the cardiologist before we discharged and we discussed the three things that are going on with LO's heart. Two of the three are considered normal, should go away (they will double check they do) and the third isn't serious at this point, but will require further tests, monitoring, etc. The MD's aren't too concerned about it at this point and say that 90% of kids who have it, it goes away.
Okay, LO wants to eat and I need to also. Thanks for the T&P's.
