Re: happy monday mornin'!
We had a really low-key weekend and it was nice. Yesterday the weather was unexpectedly nice and that seemed to help my mood.
At work today and I've been asked to go to a conference in Baltimore in 2 weeks so I've been investigating that.
Have a good day ladies.
Good Morning!
My weekend was fantastic! We went wine tasting on Saturday followed by some time at Alderwood, then went to Daniel's in Bellevue for dinner. I love that place!
Sunday, we did pottery painting at U Village and had a lot of fun. We then went looking for a coat for me and found one.
My car had been making this scary sounding racket, so my handy husband dove shoulder deep under the hood and fixed it.
We had thai take out for dinner while watching The Others on Netflix.
I missed Tman a lot, but it was really nice to have some adult time with my husband.
...been married 7 years and 1 day!
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
We had a lovely weekend, but I'm not thrilled about it being Monday.
We've got dinner reservations at Volterra in Ballard tonight.
I'm waiting to see if DH made it to work.. he was nervous about the viaduct closure...so far I haven't heard from him.
Had a fun, not too busy weekend. Saturday I was in Tacoma for a paddling race. Stayed in a watched movies Saturday night in bed. House cleaning on sunday (yay for a CLEAN house) and had some friends over for dinner.
Gonna start decorating my house for Halloween Party on Saturday. wheee!
Our weekend was pretty laid back. I went through all of my craft stuff/wedding stuff, made a big donation pile, trash pile, and then organized my new office. I absolutely love having an office/craft room. But I can't decide what color I want to paint the walls, or if I want to leave them white.
I started feeling crappy yesterday while we were running errands, and this morning I work up feeling like complete crap, so I'm staying home from work sick today
.
We tromped up to Vancouver for the weekend and I tried this bamboo charcoal miso ramen which was interesting. We celebrated my mil's 60th birthday early since the next few months will be too busy to head up to Vancouver. Sad panda is sad though. We ended up getting her a pretty nice black pearl (in a pink color) from Tahiti for her as a souvenir and a birthday/Christmas gift thing but she was a lot more excited about the body wash we randomly picked up for her from La Source. :P Sigh.
Not being at home for a weekend has made the house messy somehow. And we are having a succession of guests for the next two weeks so I have to somehow find motivation in the next two days to clean my house. ._.
Good morning!
I had one of those weekends where you need another weekend to recover. Saturday, got in a workout with H (meaning, he gimped around the gym and bossed me around, still in his boot), then we rented a carpet steamer and did some deep cleaning around the house. Saturday night, I went with my dad to the WSU/OSU Seattle game. We had a total blast, even though it was a loss.
Sunday - church, lunch with my grandma, annual pumpkin patch/corn maze day with friends, then we had everyone over for dinner. We usually go to the pumpkin patch that has the WA state-shaped corn maze, but we went to Dr. Maze's farm in Redmond this year because one of the girls found a Groupon deal for it. Apparently the bad weather this year wasn't ideal for corn growing, because the corn was so short even the little kids could see over it. So glad we didn't pay full price for that one. Also, we always take our dog along to the pumpkin patch, so we checked the website and saw nothing about dogs not being allowed, so we brought her. As we were pulling in, there was a sign saying dogs weren't allowed, so we ended up taking Coco home. We were really disappointed.
Anyways, have a good Monday! And happy anniversaries BabyA and LegalBritt!

Good morning! I had a super lazy weekend, and I didn't do any of the chores I wanted to get done over the weekend, oh well. The Husky loss had me bummed out, but I think Stanford will end up in the Rose Bowl, and maybe even the Championship this year, so the Cardinal isn't the worst team to lose to.
Happy Homecoming Week to all my fellow Huskies!!!!!

Good morning!
Today DD goes for her first doctor visit. I am hoping she handles it well so we can make a quick trip to Target afterwards. We'll see.

Luck is pretty freakin amazing! Match that with a poor defense and that's what happens!
Saturday we went to my nephew's soccer game. He scored his first goal (this is his first year playing), so that was exciting! After that was his birthday party. Then we watched the Sounders game at a friend's.
Yesterday a couple hours after i got up i wasn't feeling well and laid down for a nap (i was thinking half hour or 45 minutes) and woke up three hours later. Felt a lot better, but threw me off all day. Dh did homework and i worked on my halloween costume.
Best sound ever: baby's heartbeat! (Heard @ 10w1d)
Happy Monday!
We had a fantastic and productive weekend -- got one of the garage bays completely cleared out, swept, and made ready for a second car (we'll need a second after the baby's born, if DH ever wants to go to work without walking the half-mile to the bus stop; stranding me at home all day/every day is SO not an option) ...
And then we went to Storables for a shelving system and put up a 7' tall x 14' long shelving unit along the wall in the garage, woohoo! It looks great, and I can't wait to start using it for bulk-items and long-term storage that won't fit conveniently in the house. SO excited.
Yeah, maybe I'm a dork.
Hello Everyone! Good afternoon!
My weekend was busy too, tons of things to do and not that much time. I finished my wreath last night.
I like it, i can't wait to get something to hang it on my front door with!!!
H is thinking about joining a rugby team. if any of you know my H, you know he's not that big... anyway, so his friend who played rugby for NZ and now plays here, is talking him into it. i'm worried.. i saw my first rugby match and first thing a guy tore his face up.. then his wife says after the season is over he has to get scar tissue removed from his face... i don't want H to do it.
Otherwise, this week is busy and I can't wait for the weekend!
Good evening!
I went back to work today, so I was unable to Nest till now. Busy day had to add a bunch of items to our inventory.
I come back from work and there was some things I had to do. Last week our computer crashed again. Nice that I was gone...didn't have to deal with that.
But it did mess up our SOP. Not good times at all.
Have a good night everyone!
