The series Monster-In-Laws

I am excited about this new series that premiered tonight because I myself have monster-in-laws MIL and SIL to be exact. I like it so far but in my opinion this should be longer than 30 minutes a family because it really seems like a spurt of the moment dispute rather than an on going dislike for one another. Maybe film it like a documentary? Anyone else watching, what do you think?

Re: The series Monster-In-Laws

  • I agree, a half hour is not enough to get a true picture of their background and the journey to fix it. The biggest thing in the show seems to be communication issues (which I think is the biggest thing in real life too). But with a half hour, it's hard to really get a feel for the issues and how they fixed them.

I was curious about the show and watched both episodes tonight. OP, hopefully you can get some insight from it... I had a rough start with my in-laws but we've made huge strides, and it's so worth it. I truly count my in-laws as family now and enjoy their company.

it's actually called monster in-laws. so the monster part serves as an adjective, and the in-laws part is correctly pluralized.

That's good that they got it right. I Googled it and it popped up as "Monster-In-Laws" rather than "Monster In-Laws."
