DH is 1 step closer to becoming a US citizen
DH is an Indian citizen & US greencard holder. He got fingerprinted (yet again) on Friday & was given the study guide for the citizenship test which he is eligible to take as of December. No idea how long it'll take to schedule the exam; any recent experience here?
I also need to convince him to apply for Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) so if we continue to fail infertility tx we can adopt from there in the future. He doesn't get why this is so important & is convinced our next tx will work. I love him dearly but sometimes he makes me want to scream!

Re: DH is 1 step closer to becoming a US citizen
We're still in the process of getting DH's permanent GC, so years away from citizenship, but wanted to say woohoo for your DH being one step closer!
And good luck convincing him to get the OCI. I would think that, even with being optimistic about your next tx, he'd understand the importance of keeping your options open.
Just out of curiosity, why don't you want to become a citizen?
Fair enough, just wondering
My dh is debating it and will likely go for it so I was just curious!
