I need some help. I have been trying to slowly redo our first floor living room/entry way. I bought an entry table and mirror that I love. Then I bought a new TV stand. Once I bought it and assembled it I realized that the color doesn't match the rest of what I bought. But I realized that since it was on the other side of the room, it wasn't that bad. Then today I got new end tables and a coffee table. These match the entry table perfectly. However, once I put it in place, it doesn't match the TV stand AT ALL! Here is a pic:

So what would you do?

I've heard this too. And like Nate Berkus says, having everything in a room all perfectly matchy-matchy makes it look like you're standing in a store, not someone's home. I think it looks fine.

I voted to keep it, but I can't stand mismatched wood furniture. I recently bought the Design Sponge book and all the rooms/homes are so beautiful and not everything matches perfectly. There is a certain aesthetic though. Mismatched wood doesn't go side by side; or if they do, one piece is generally weathered-looking.
I'm currently in the process of painting some of our wood furniture. Our computer desk is oak and I will be painting it in a black and white chevron pattern. There is always the option of restaining the furniture!
Do the creep.
