*grumblegrumble*

Things that are irritating me today:

* it's getting colder, so our annual "Chris doesn't want to turn the heat on" argument has begun.

* Sam was cold last night, so Chris had to get up with her a couple of times to put the blankets back on her.  I hate to say "I told you so...." but even though it was his night, I was woken up every time.  At 4:30am he wasn't getting up so I finally got out of bed -- poor girl needed a diaper change, which I told him she probably needed at the 2:30am wake-up.  I was pissed.

* Chris had an early morning doctor's appointment, so my morning to "sleep in" was cut short by him putting Sam in bed with me.  This also meant I had to get both her ready and myself ready on my own.  Of course she chose this morning to just fuss and moan about everything I did...

* My mother asks the same questions every.single. time I drop Sam off at her house. "What did she eat yesterday?  What can she eat today?  Does she need a bath?"  It doesnt matter what she ate yesterday -- feed her whatever you usually feed her -- and yes, she always gets a bath over here on Tuesdays.  ARGH!

* I was blocked in by some @sshole who decided to park behind my car at Dunkin Donuts because he was too lazy to actually find a real spot to park in.  It took him another 10 minutes to actually come back out to his car, and then he's looking at me like how dare I question where he parked his car.

* I've been out of the office since Friday, so coming back today is a little overwhelming, and it doesn't help that my boss is laying into me about files where I have no idea whats going on because my sister was covering them while I was out.  And then my sister doesn't understand why I'm not in the best of moods when she wants to talk about nothing.

* The cute new NY&Co outfit I bought this weekend isn't looking as nice as I had hoped it would, and it's bumming me out.

.... I'm sure there's more, but while I stew, please feel free to add your own!

  • Sounds like there's wine in your future! If not, it needs to be.

  • * SO. MANY. EMAILS.

    * Shoulda bought more whoopie pies.

    * My legs are still sore from walking around Gettysburg all day on Sunday and then being on an airplane for two hours, walking around O'Hare for two hours, then being on another plane for an hour and 15.

    * Vacation is over. Grumble.

  • Sorry your day is sucking so far, MB!

    * I had a 3 day weekend so I REALLY don't feel like being here.

    * I have a massive headache, so staring at a computer day is no bueno. I just want to curl up in a ball in a dark space.

Sidenote: do you think I should be concerned about aforementioned massive headache since it's been lingering since yesterday? I feel like poo. Could it be a BP issue?

  • UGGGH. That does sound like a crappy start to the day. Hope it gets better!!

I don't know why I'm getting so aggravated with Jon lately, but after this weekend and his office being such a hole that I had to clean while he went golfing apparently I'm a little on edge with him.

Last night I got home, cleaned the kitchen and then started making dinner. He gets home, reads for a little while and I finish dinner. We eat and then he clears plates, puts some in the dishwasher and then proceeds to soak 2 pans that don't need to be soaked and leave everything else in the sink. JUST WASH THEM FOR CHRIST SAKES.  Instead, he wants to leave it there because he knows when I get home from work the next day I'll have to do the dishes before I start dinner. because I'll need those pans and the space. Which throws our whole "he who cooks does not also clean" rule right out the window.  Just putting water in a pan that has nothing baked on and sitting it on the counter is not cleaning.

Have you upped your water intake since yesterday at all?  I would try that, and if it doesnt improve by this afternoon, a call in to your nurse can't hurt.

If it doesn't go away with Tylenol (and a coke - that was always my trick), you should probably give your doctor a call. It could be BP related. Better safe than sorry, love!

  • I've been sucking water like crazy because I'm so effing thirsty all the time.

I took 1 Tylenol last night and another this morning. I'm thinking it's a pregnancy migraine or something, I used to get them in 1st tri.

I'll give it till lunch and then call if it's still bugging me.

THIS Exactly! Ryan refuses to put the heat on yet and it's been so cold in our house the past couple of nights and I hate being cold. He says he doesn't want to waste oil yet b/c we haven't gotten our delivery yet, umm we have half a tank, I think we can turn it on a little to make the house above 56... rrrrr

  • I am with you. My brain is fried. This is the 1st full week I have worked in almost a month. I keep thinking today is Wednesday. Yesterday I repeatedly tried to swipe my gym card at stop and shop. I also tried to use my car door remote on my house door. Oops.

  • Why don't the printers in my office ever work the days of the week preceding our board meetings?  I mean, really.  There are 6 possible printer options and we employ an entire team of people for office services and 150 tech people.  It would seem like somewhere, someone would be able to fix these things, but no, and instead, I end up digging paper jams out with a yard stick.

  • Since the beginning of October, I've been throwing out ideas for Halloween costumes. Robin always just ignores me. This morning, two days before we need to dress up, he emails me a link to a costume from the internet, saying he'll buy it if I like it. WHAT? That ship has sailed sir.

I guess he's willing to pay $50+ to overnight them? :)

And I want to stay at home.  I never thought I'd say that.  Being at work is getting harder and harder and I'm missing Kyler so bad that it hurts. I have almost completely checked out from work right now.  No bueno.
