What's new this week?
I had my 2nd OB appointment on Friday. Got my flu shot, and my arm is still a little red and tender. We listened to the heartbeat, which was in the 150s. Doc says girl. He measured my belly and told me that I was measuring 16 weeks. He started throwing around the c-section option, I think just to warn me. He said that he'll have a better idea when he does the growth u/s at 32 weeks. Right now, we're just waiting to see if baby takes after me and is small or after Drew and is large. I'm praying for a small (but healthy) babe. And, it turns out that I'm not anemic, so they're really pushing the vitamins with iron in them. We're currently working on finding a combination that doesn't make me feel like death warmed up.
We're waiting on the crib to come in, which should be sometime this week. We've also started looking at closet organizers. We're changing the office into the nursery, and we were going to leave the other bedroom as a spare bedroom. But, we figured that since we have the guest bedroom set up downstairs, that we might as well make the spare bedroom into the office. So, we found a new desk that we're pretty sure we're going to order. Now, I just have to Craigslist the old desk.
My next appointment is November 17, which is the anatomy scan. Only 24 more days; basically a lifetime!

TTC since 1/2010 - Dx with Stage IV Endo
11/10 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
12/10 - Unmedicated cycle due to RE not doing treatments in December = BFN
1/11 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
2/11 - Same sh!t, different month = IUI cancelled due to no response = BFN
IVF #1 - Start stims (Follistim) 5/10, add in Ganirelix 5/14
ER 5/21 - 13 retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilized; ET 5/26 - transferred one perfect 1AA blast. 3 snowbabies.
Beta 6/3 - 15.8; Beta 6/7 - 21.8; Beta 6/10 - 7
FET - Transferred 1 AA blast 7/11. Beta 7/20 - 311! Beta 7/22 - 784!! First u/s 8/10

Is the Doc confident it's a girl?! That's exciting!!!!! Can't wait for your anatomy scan!
I'm feeling ok. I've had a cold for the past week, so combine that with fatigue and I'm more than a little sleepy. I haven't really had much of an appetite, which makes me sad because I love food, but I haven't been sick so I can't complain.
Overall, we are still in complete shock and will feel better about everything if we can make it to our first ultrasound on 11/8. It's two weeks from tomorrow and feels like an eternity away!!!
Eh, I think it's just all old wives tales at this point. However, when my sister was over a couple of weekends ago, we did a few gender tests and only one said boy. Poor Drew is so depressed!
I can't wait for YOUR ultrasound! I'm so excited to see your cute little blob! It's funny that we're basically exactly 3 months apart.

. My cousin is pregnant with her second and is having the same experience. One of my friend's had her 3rd and was like, yeah, at 10 weeks, there was no hiding it! lol
