iPad help

I'm going to get DH an iPad for christmas, but I'm not sure which size to get.  I'm sticking with the plain wifi one, not 3G.  He'll mainly be using it for just "play", not work.  Internet, email, facebook/twitter, etc.  Probably some movies if we travel, but not for permanent storage (we have apple tv for that).  Is the 16G big enough, or should I get the 32G?

Re: iPad help

  • I got the 32gb because I use mine to play games (Plants v Zombies is one I highly recommend) and some of those apps are larger.  That said, I've had it for 4 months and it is less than 25% full.

  • I got the bigger one - wi-fi version. One thing, I'd highly recommend getting the 3G. You don't have to pay for it every month - you can just choose to use it when you need it. That's my one regret, as there have been lots of times when I've wished I had it.
  • I have a Xoom, not an iPad, but I would say if he has some other form of music player, go with the smaller one.  32 isn't really that useful unless he's going to shoot a lot of video/carry a lot of pictures/listen to a lot of music.
