Forgive me if this has been asked or talked about, but I noticed everyone was talking about both of these shows like there's a connection. Do they have the same writers or something?

It is from the same creators of Lost.
I didn't watch Lost, but I guess there were a lot of hidden Lost messages in the Pilot for OUAT.

I watched the pilot for Lost, but didnt know it was a pilot. I thought it was a made for TV movie. I was pretty annoyed at the end when there were more questions than answers. I refused to watch it again. I also thought the polar bears in the woods were ridiculous.
but I dont mind OUAT.
Sigh. I miss Lost.
I miss Lost when it was good.
